Mechanical deformations can also cause growth of corrosion and corroded dents can be a serious threat to pipeline integrity. Change in diameter or Bore of pipeline circular shape can affect the flow of product and cause consumption of power required for product transportation.
Shenglong geometry tool is a multi-purpose tool, which is suitable for the evaluation of pipeline characteristics and status. Geometry tools can check that there are no restrictions in the pipeline prior to running heavier and more sophisticated ILI tools. The types of features that can be inspected include but are not limited to: Dent, Ovality, Wrinkle, Buckle, Girth weld, Bend , Tee, Valve, Offtake.
